European Union RED Directive Update - ETSI EN 300 328 V2.2.2

The standard of ETSI EN 300 328 specifics requirements for data transmission equipment operating in the 2.4 GHz ISM band and using wi de band modulation techniques. Wireless loca l area network (WLAN), Bluetooth and ZigBee products are required to fulfill this standard. Since there are many devices operate in the 2.4 GHz band, this standard ensures that radio equipment does not cause interference with each other and user’s health hazard. The new standard states a clear minimum requirement on the receiver in order to improve spectrum utilization.
