Korea Proposes to Amend the Safety Standard for Children’s Swimming Goggles
On 04 June 2025, the Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) published a Notice No. 2025-420 titled: “Administrative notice of revision of Appendix 4 (Children's Swimming Goggles) of the children's products subject to supplier conformity verification with individual safety standards”.
As explained in the Notice, its purpose is to revise the safety standards for Children's Swimming Goggles according to Article 25, Paragraph 2 of the Special Act on Children's Product Safety.
Besides informing the industry and the public of the purpose and content of the revision in advance, their opinions are also welcome.
