Korea Proposes to Amend the Safety Standards for Children's Roller and Inline Skates

On August 18, 2025, the Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE, 산업통상자원부) announced in its Public Notice No. 2025-643 the proposed amendments regarding Children's Roller and Inline Skates, which are subject to Supplier Conformity Confirmation.

 

Substantial Changes

Inter alia, there is a proposed change in product classification criteria from size-based to weight-based, as follows:
