STC exhibits at Nuremberg International Toy Fair (Spielwarenmesse) 2026
【31 January 2026, Germany】STC (Hong Kong Standards and Testing Centre) exhibited at 75th Nuremberg International Toy Fair (Spielwarenmesse) 2026 held from 27 to 31 January. As the largest toy industry platform in the world, the fair provided STC with a valuable opportunity to share the latest technologies and solutions with toy brands and manufacturers looking to expand their markets in Europe, Asia and other regional markets.
The exhibition featured over 2,300 exhibitors from more than 46 countries and regions, as well as over 75,000 industry professionals from 125 countries. STC's professional team and representatives of toy brands and manufacturers discussed the latest challenges in quality and compliance, as well as how integrated testing, inspection and certification (TIC) solutions with market know-how can help businesses maintain their regional competitive edge. Amongst the hot discussions were how sellers on Amazon could simplify TIC Direct Validation (DV) with STC, an officially recognised DV laboratory. The event identified two groundbreaking trends for 2026 after intensive research: AI Loves (to) Play and Creative Mindfulness. The fair was also divided into several themed pavilions, including Toys for Kidults, Sustainable Collection and New Product Gallery, facilitating business interaction of international manufacturers and professionals from different sectors. Mr. Johnny WONG, General Manager of STC’s Toys and Children Products Division, noted, "In recent years, collectibles for kidults and AI-integrated toys have gained popularity. Many companies presenting these products have participated in the event, allowing us to exchange market intelligence on these trending sectors and expand our TIC service offerings.”
