China Compulsory Certification

Hong Kong Standards and Testing Centre (STC) was established in 1963 and is headquartered in Hong Kong.  It is an independent, not-for-profit testing, inspection and certification organisation providing customers with one-stop professional conformity testing services and assisting customers from all over the world in entering the global market.

As a multinational organisation, STC has established laboratories in major cities and regions such as Guangdong, Shanghai and Changzhou in China. Our global network has also been extended to Vietnam, Japan, the USA, and Germany, to test for a wide range of products.

As early as 2012, STC became the first third-party laboratory in Hong Kong recognised for CCC testing. Subsequently in 2014，STC (Guangdong) Company Limited - the flagship branch of STC in China - successfully became the first China non-Governmental CCC designated laboratory to provide complete CCC toy testing services. In 2017 and 2019, STC (Guangdong) successfully expanded its CCC testing scope to cover electronic products and safety accessories, lighting equipment and building material products. Furthermore, it was successfully accredited as a CCC designated laboratory for ride-on toys (all items).
