China Updated the National Standards Related to Toys and Children's Products

In July 2022, the Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China (中国国家标准化管理委员会), or SAC, had announced the revisions of 3 mandatory national standards (强制性国家标准修改单) and released 6 recommended national standards (推荐性国家标准) related to toys and children's products.

Safety of Toys Part 2: Mechanical and Physical Properties (1st Amendment)

1. 修正原有标准中半球形玩具示例图标注等错误;

2. 在弹射玩具相关要求条款4.18.1中增加了不适用条件

3. 新增测试方法条款5.30 弹射物发射距离测试

1. Fixed the errors such as the labeling of the example diagram of the hemispherical toy in the original standard;

2. An exclusion clause was added to Clause 4.18.1 relating to the requirements for projectile toys

3. Added test method in clause 5.30 for projectile distance test

玩具安全第11部分:家用秋千、滑梯及类似用途室内、室外活动玩具《第1号修改单》

Safety of Toys Part 11: Household Swings, Slides and Indoor and Outdoor Activity Toys for Similar Purposes (1st Amendment)

1. 修改了杠铃直径与厚度数值

2. 修改了摆动元件与地面之间的最小间距数值

3. 附录A新增条款:A.4.7.7 摆动元件与地面之间的最小间距

1. 修订了变压器玩具/带电池盒玩具标识说明要求的适用性问题

2. 修订了玩具电池室不同极性部件短路试验的适用性问题

1. Revised the applicability of the requirements for the labeling of transformer toys/toys with battery boxes

2. Revised the applicability for short-circuit tests of different polarity in the toy battery compartment.
