【Hong Kong, 8 April 2026】HKCC (Hong Kong Certification Centre), a subsidiary of STC (Hong Kong Standards and Testing Centre), is proud to announce with effect from April 2026, three laboratories have been authorised as CB testing laboratories under HKCC’s National Certification Body (NCB) for the IECEE CB Scheme. The new members are: CTS (Dongguan) Testing Technology Co., Ltd., Shenzhen HongBiao Certification & Testing Co., Ltd., and Guangdong Zhonghan Testing Technology Co., Ltd.

The IECEE CB Scheme is the IEC System for Conformity Assessment for Electrotechnical Equipment and Components. CB test reports and certificates are mutually recognised by 54 member countries, facilitating international market access for compliant products. HKCC is the only China NCB located in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) and is authorised to issue CB certificates against over 160 standards across 8 product categories, including batteries, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), household appliances, lighting and IT / AV products. In the past three years, HKCC has issued more than 2,000 CB certificates.

With the addition of the three laboratories delivering excellent testing capabilities, HKCC now operates six authorised CB testing laboratories. HKCC will keep strengthening its laboratory network and technical capabilities to provide a broader range of high‑quality testing and certification services to support manufacturers and exporters all over the world.

【26 February 2026, USA】STC (Hong Kong Standards and Testing Centre) was honoured to participate as a Gold Sponsor at the ICPHSO 2026 Annual Meeting & Training Symposium, organised by the International Consumer Product Health and Safety Organisation, held on 23-26 February.

【17 February 2026, USA】STC (Hong Kong Standards and Testing Centre) exhibited at North American International Toy Fair 2026, held from 14 to 17 February. STC's professional team engaged with industry representatives from local to global brands, discussing the latest trends in the toy industry as well as the most recent product regulations and market developments in North America, providing clients with professional advice on expanding their business overseas.

Held in the USA, the exhibition featured over 720 exhibitors from different countries and territories and over 10,000 industry professionals from more than 50 states and nearly 100 countries and territories. As the toy industry enters a new era defined by digital integration and eco-conscious manufacturing, STC showcased its latest testing capabilities and provided updated guidance for manufacturers on navigating safety requirements. 【9 February 2026, Japan】STC (The Hong Kong Standards and Testing Centre) exhibited at the 101st Tokyo International Gift Show Spring 2026, held in Tokyo, Japan, from 4 to 6 February. With over 50 years of history, this market-leading trade show gathers global industry professionals twice a year. The event provided STC with a valuable platform to showcase the latest testing, inspection and certification (TIC) technologies and solutions for businesses of gifts and household goods expanding their businesses in the international marketplace.

Themed with Gifts of Love and Peace, the exhibition emphasised the ideas of "a heart that wishes for peace", "inbound", "good sleep", "naturally derived" and "environment". 【6 February 2026, Hong Kong】 The award ceremony for the Testing & Certification Manpower Development Award Scheme 2025-2026 organised by the Hong Kong Certification and Testing Centre (HKCTC) took place on 6 February 2026. Hong Kong Standards and Testing Centre (STC) proudly received the Testing and Certification Manpower Development Corporate Award (Platinum Award) for the third consecutive edition. In addition, Ms. Toby YEUNG, Senior Technical Officer of Chemical, Food and Pharmaceutical Products Department was honoured with the Excellent Testing and Certification Professional Award (Junior Professional). The two awards recognised STC’s outstanding contributions to promoting the manpower and professional development of testing and certification practice, as well as the commitment of its staff to professional excellence and continuous development.

The Testing & Certification Manpower Development Award Scheme has been presented every two years since 2021.
